Andrew Carnegie's steel work's have been transferred to Pierpont Morgan's syndicate for 160 million dollars, thus ensuring to the latter the control of the steel rail industry.
The Great Eastern Railway Company have ordered 8000 tons of steel rails from Pittsburg (U.S.A.).
