The Australia and South Africa Steamship Company, a Melbourne venture,. is being instituted. The service is to be a regular one, and the steamers are to be specially fitted for the carriage of frozen pror duce and live stock to South Africa, Mr Moore, the member of the Natal Ministry who was recently here, had an interview with the Minister of Agriculture. He stated that there would be a good market in South Africa for Australian foodstuffs and cattle for the next 10 years, owing to the -war. It would be that time before the local producers were able to overtake the demand.
