Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 9. (Received Jau. 10, at 8.51 a.m.) The arrivals for the London wool sales, opening on the 15th, total 250,000 bales; 41,000 have been forwarded to the manufacturers direct, leaving 339,000 available for sale. Messrs Dalgety and Co. are in receipt of the following cablegram from their London office, under dato of Bth inst." Wool: The list of arrivals for the January sales, which open on the 15th. is closed, the amount available, including 133,000 bales brought forward from last series, being 339,000 bales. Antwerp wool sales: As compared with last sales nrices are on the average 10 per cent, higher." From their Melbourno office they yesterday received the following eab'c:—"Wool sales
resumed; the market is buoyant, but there is no quotable change in prices. The decrease in the Australasian shipments to 31st December amounts to 217,000 bales."
