OTAGO ROWING ASSOCIATION.
A mooting of tho O.R.A. was held Inst night in .tho D.C.C. rooms. Mr BuKonvorth was in Iho chair. Mr Stables banded in tho report of the meeting of rowing men held in Ohristchurch to discuss the proposed amendment to tho constitution of tho N.7/.A.R.A. Tho reception accorded to the suggested alteration was ir.ost hearty, and it only now rests with the different clubs to instruct theiv delegates to nltf-nd Ihcepeeial meeting of the N.55.A.R.A. to bo held in Wellington on February 1, wl'.eit, no doubt, the proposal will bo adopted. Mr J. A. Stables was appointed to represent (ho O.R.A. at tho meeting in Wellington. The Secretary reported having written a letter to Corporal M'Kegg welcoming him on liis return, and-expressing tho rowing men's admiration of his achievements at the front, and their hopes for his speedy recovery from his unfortunate accident.
