ALLEGED WIFE MURDER.
(Peb United Pebss Association.) AUCKLAND, January 8. A Maori named Rawiri has 'been .brongit down from Miranda on a charge of having caused the death of his wife by striking her. Rawiri lias been lodged in gaol pending inquiries. The inspector of police has as yet no details of the case.
