Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRUSSELS, December 20. (Received Dec. 20, at 11 p.m.) Thirty thousand dockers at Antwerp struck work, and insist on double pay on Sundays and at night. The employers offer 50 per cent over the' ordinary rates.
A special meeting of the Labour Bay Committee was held in the Trades Hall last evening; Mr G. Pearee (president) being in the chair. Mr A. R. Lawry was elected secretary, and it was resolved that the executive meet in the Trades Hall on Saturday afternoon, when business of an important nature will be dealt with. ' v
