LONDON, December 19. . (Received Dec. 20i at 8.57 a.m.) Mr Brodrick cabled the substance of the charge brought by Mr Bryn Eoberts to Lord Kitchener, who has replied that Mr Roberts's story is absolutely without ■foundation. -
.'■'■'■'" December 20. (Received Dec. 21, at 1.28 a.m.) _Mr Bryn Roberts, in a letter to The Times, apologises, and regrets naming the Australian*;, against whom there was no imputation. He finds that the Imperial Yeoman's letter, whiph. he quoted, alluded to South Afripan colonials, not to Australians. The' Times stigmatises tys-action- as recklessly careless blundering in making the quotation.- ■ ' . ■
