NOTICE.—CHRISTMAS CARDS, Etc. The public are reminded that cards, etc., enclosed in envelopes not entirely open at one end,' are liable to be charged deficient postage at letter rates upon delivery. EXPRESS DELIVERY AND SPECIAL MESSENGER SERVICES "Will also be established as from Ist January next. The express delivery will cover letters and parcels not exceeding 31b in weight, for which an extra fee of Gd has been paid, and delivery will be made on receipt at this and the following offices:—Ashburton, Auckland, Blenheim, Bluff, Christchurch, Feilding, Gisborne, Gore, Greymouth, Hawera, Hokitika, Invercargill, Lyttclton, Masterton, Napier, Nelson, Nc\ Plymouth, Oamaru, Onehunga, Palmerston North, Port Chalmers, Thames, Timaru, Wangamii, Wellington, Westport. The special messenger service means placing a messenger at the disposal of any_telephone exchange subscriber on request being made, and a. fee of Bd for the first mile and 3d each additional mile up to two miles, or time payment being made, such messengers may be utilised for running an errand, ordering a cab, delivering letters, small parcels, or any similar service. , , .
