RUNNING TRAMS TO KAIKORAI VALLEY.
TO THE . EDITOR. Sir,—The people of this locality, have waited many years for the tram, and surely a few parsons ore not now going to influence the Rosly.n Council to prevent us enjoying the means of getting in and out on Sundays. 1 do not mean that many trips should be run, but surely two or three a day might reasonably be granted. I sincerely hope the council will not" be so antiquated as to give effect to clerical interference. No wonder that churches arc losing their hold on people.— 1 am, etc., A Resident.
