LORD SALISBURY'S POLICY APPROVED.
(Per TJxited Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 19. Following upon the Premier's publicly, stated suggestion, the Cabinet, through the Governor, have advised the Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr Chamberlain) of New Zealand's approval and support of tho policy followed by England in refusing to assent to the independence of: the Boers or to permit any intervention,' arid also of the Premier's belief that the colonies could supply enough men to hold South Africa if the Imperial troops are required elsewhere.
