BLAND HOLTS SEASON.
Mr, ana Mrs1 Bland Holt, 'with their, very, extensive -organisation, arrived by the northern express from Christchurch last.evening, and commence a short farewell season at the Princess Theatre to-night. " Sew Babylon," winch has been revised and brought up to date, is the opening piece. The story of the play is aptly told, and never for a moment fails to interest - There is plenty of the sensational element and abundance, of striking situations. Included m the cast is a clever Yankee detective (impersonated by Bland Holt) whose smartness contributes largely to the'discomfitures of villainy and the final triumph of virtue The tableau representing a collision in tiie .Atlantic and the foundering of the Antarctic is one of the finest sta<*e effects pvpv attempted by Mr Holt.
