OUR SUBURBAN POST.
'i'O THE EDITOJI. Sjß,—ln ono of your Current Topics this morning on "Valentine's Day" you say: " Twenty, years ago the postman used to bo hours* late on Valentine's Day; was he a minute behind his time yesterday?" I am not sure that you were asking for information, but, in case you were. I may mention that he arrived at my house in iUoroington at 5.15 p.m. "Whether this is "behind his limo." I cannot, say, as lam not aware what his time is supposed to be. He usually turns up about 2 p.m., and, considering that my house is within 20 minutes' walk of tho C.P.0.. I think even that hour is behind what the time ought to be for our first and only delivery.—l am, etc., Dunedin, February 15. M.
