— Never in the history of American railroading has there been such extenpive improvements made by all the roads along their lines and in their equipment. All the Eastern Hne3 are spending millions in improvements between New York and Ohiqago. The same can be said of the Western roads. It is estimated that the roads having terminals in Chicago contemplate making contacts, or they have already made them, that amount to about 10,000,000dp1.
