VISIT OF MR J. MALINS.
The public of Duneclin>ill next week have the opportunity of. hearing one of England's leading temperance; reformers, who is now touring tho world on behalf of Good Tern- ! plars. Mr Joseph Malms, county councillor, of Birmingham, the gentleman referred to, has been splendidly received in tho north, all sections of temperance workers rallying round : him to gather information. Mr Malms has | been 30 years Grand Chief' Templar of Eng- | land, the Grand Lodge of which ■ numbers 100,000 members. He is also 'Right Worthy Grand Templar of the World," having been re-elected, at last session, just recently held in* America. Mr Malms will address meetings in Dunedin next Friday night and Sunday, 17lli (afternoon and evening), in the Garrison Hall. The executive of the Dunodin lodges have, determined to malco no charge for ad-' mission to any meetings or to any part of the hall, so crowded houses^ should result. Tho services of the Huttor. Family orchestra and Methodist Central Mission Church choir have been secured, and should add to the success of the meetings.
