Sm,—A correspondent in your Saturday** issue asks why the directors of a certain company have not declared a dividend for some considerable time. There are plenty of shareholders in other companies asking the same question. Also, why are the returns not published weekly? Of course, the directors know the returns: why not the shareholders? I know one company. where the returns are very good, yot no dividend for some time past.—l am, etc., Another Shakehoidee..
