POLITICAL INTELLIGENCE.
AN OPPOSITION CAMPAIGN,
(Per United Press AssocumeN.) WELLINGTON, January 23. A meeting of members of the Opposition was held in the Chamber of Commerce tonight. General questions were discussed at length, ssd it was resolved to place the political position fully before the country from the platform during the autumn, and that Captain Russell should open the campaign in about a month. A general election committee was set up, with Mr John Duthie as chairman, to correspond with supporters in the various constituencies and assist to arrange for candidates and also for
sjseakers wherever they were required.
