At a meeting of the Benevolent Trustees this afternoon it was stated that one of the late inmates, Mrs Williams, had bequeathed £800, half of which, after payment of certain expenses, was to go to the matron of the home, £70 to the matron's daughter, and the balance (about £1.60) to be invested so as to provide an annual sum for the purchase of "comforts for the inmates of the home.
