They consisted of 2000 mixed 4-tooth wethers nnd maiden cwt-s from Messrs Begg Bros.' Hillend station. Another draft of 1000 from Messrs Leonard and M'Kenzie's property at Pillans', in the same neighbourhood, also passed along the I same day, both lots being in the pink of con- ! dition, and eminently calculated to uphold J the reputation of " prime Canterbury." Both lots were secured by Canterbury buyers, and are being frozen at Burnside on account of the temporary stoppage of the Christchurch Freezing Work3.—Bruce Herald. «■
