Samples are offering freely, and are eagerly competed for. .Sp-irrowbills are quoted at 2s to 2s Id (sacks extra, country stations), Sutherlands (scarce) bring 2s 3d to 2; 4d, long Tartars and dun (hardly obtainable} bring faucy prices. Wiheafc continues to advance. Prime is scarce and strong; milling is worth 4s 9d to 4s lid (sacks extra, on trucks). Barley Malting is in good demand and very scarce. The Jake1! and Garston crops have mostly gone to Dunedin at 4ij 9d to 5s (sacks extra). CHRISTCHURCH MARKETS. Christchurch, May 13.—The market for oats and wheat is iv an excited state. Milling wheat auctioned to-day brought 4s 6d to 4s. 9id (on trucks at country stations). Good feed oats are very scarce, and are selling at 2s 7d to 2s lOd, f.o.b. PROPERTY SALES.
