The race for the 220 yds Amateur Championship was swum at the Corporation Baths, Nottingham. Percy Ca?ill and Hollings (the two Australians) entered, but withdrew. Tyers won, defeating Derbyshire by three yards, iv 2min 39 4-ssec.
