Mr Seddon, writing to the Argus' estimates Jhe New Zealand surplus for this financial year at L 300,000, made up as follows :—LIOO.OOO from customs, LBOOOO from ..railways, and L 120.000 from stamps post and telegraph, territorial revenue' *nd land and income tax. '
