Mails leave Sydney for New Guinea on March 1, and for Noumea and Fiji on March 3. . Mails for Fiji, per Richmond, close at Auckland on ."Friday, March 5, at 4 p.m. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Taviuni, will close at Auckland oa Wednesday, March 10, at 4 p.m. Note.—The rates of postage on newspapers addressed to Queensland, as from the Ist January, 1897, must be Id for first 4oz or less, and id for. every additional 2oz.
