GRAIN.AND SEED REPORT.

Messrs William E. Reynolds and Co., Bond street, report for the week ending 13th October 1896 as follows :— . Wheat is unaltered, and we repeat quotations— viz,, prime velvet, 3s IOd; Tuscan, 3s 8d to 3s 9d; red sorts, 3s 5d to 3s 6d ; and fowls' feed, 3s to 3s 3d. , Oats are also without alteration, though the market keeps very steady at 16 9d for prime Sutherlands, ls BAd for extra good sparrowbills, lsßdfor good ordioary, and ls 7Jd for Danish. Potatoes arevery scarce indeed, aDd some sales have been made at £415s for prime northern, but if deliveries increase the price is bound to recede again. ' ' \ Chaff is unaltered; alt but prime quality, which is worth up to £212s 6d, tells very,badly. Rabbit and sheepskius meet with fair competition at late raUs, eipecislly the former, of which not many are coming to hand. Seeds.—lnquiries are less frequent, except for turnipi, which we are sending out freely. We can confidently recommend our stocks to all growers as specially good quality.
