GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS,

Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale yesterday:— ■ Oats.—We submitted a small catalogue of fair quality, which was cleared at Is 7_d to ls 8d per buinel, and quote good to best feed, Is Sd to ls Bid; medium, ls Sd to ls 7id per bushel (sacks Wheat.—Milling wheat is unchanged; fowl feed is in good demand at 3s.to 3s 3d per bushel (sacks in). . . Barley.—Prime malting is inquired for, but medium quality is almost unsaleable. Feed is plentiful at ls 9d to 2s per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes.—The market has been bare, and to-day ptices advanced fully £1 per ton, best Derwents selling at £4 12a 6d to £4-15s per ton Chaff.—The market is still over-supplied with medium quality, which is almost neglected. Prime eaten sheaf is in request, but the supply of this class is limited. We sold medium to good: at £2 2s fid to £2 ss. Prime is worth £2 IBs to £2 I2s 6d per ton (bags extra).
