Muir.—ln loviog memory of John Muir, farmer, late of Shaft Valley, Palmerston, who died at his resi lence, Clyde street. Dunedin, dn the 13th'Octotier 1895. Also, his wife, Eliz.beth Kennedy, who died on the 2nd October 1595. Heaven retaineth now our treasures, "earth the t-nely caskets keeps, And,the sunbeams love to linger Where our sainted parents sleep.
