SHOOTING COMPETITION.
The third competition for prizes presented to the Portobello Rifle Club wa» held at the Hooper* Inlet range on Saturday. Tho weather was fine, but the shooting was ag»ia poor. Ranges, 200, 500, and 600 yards; seven shots at each distance. The following are the highest scores:—
