BURGLARIES IN AUCKLAND.

Tho post offic. at R.fcorria wan entered by burglars and £230 stolon from the safe. A number of postnl notes and reghtfcred letters were found in a paddock with a roll of notes. An entrance was effected by a window, The burglars entered Mc Datinoy's bedroom and stole the keys of tha safe whilo he was asloep, MesßrsKhrenfriedßros,'nremiawiwMoent«red by burglars and 2500 cigars stolen, also a quantity of champagne, During the past two yeard over 50 robberies of tobweo and cigars have occurred, in connection with which no arrest has been made. Recently there havn been a number of potty robberies and attempted burglaries

Tho postal authorities have received information that the Rotoran Post Office was broken into tho night before last and £200 stolen. It appears that tho thieves broke into tbo postmaster's home, and, he think-, drugged bim while asleep and obtained keys of the post office safe from his trousers ponkefc. They then effected an entrance into the past oflice by breaking the window, and made off with the contents of the office safe, wbich included £200 in cash." All the contents of the safe have been recovered excepting the cish. Two men were to-day arreted by the police on suspicion of being directly concerned in the robbery.
