Tho annual ram fair of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association was opened to-day, and will continue to-morrow. There was a good attendance of South Island breeders, but few from the North. Stud Lincolnß sold at from lg to 16gs; Komueys, gjgs to 9gs; Border Lcicesters, from 3gs to flVgs; English Leicester*, 4gs to 25gs; and 30g» for a couplo of Mr Thr.lkeld's. Only two Bhropshircs sold at 3gs to 34gs, and ono Southdown at Gga. A fair number of Lincoln flock rams were sold at lg to Bgs.
