Lyttelton—Mararoa arrived 8.30 a.m. from Port Chalmers. Wellington—Taupo arrived 7 a.m. from Greymouth. Westport—Brnnner arrived 6 a.m. from Nelson. Corinna arrived 11 a.m. from Lyttelton. Napier—Rotomahana sailed 2 p.m. for Wellington. •

The U.S.S.- Company's steamer Talune, from Auckland, via the East Coast ports, arrived at the tongue wharf at 7.15 a.m. yesterday with 89 passengers and cargo from Auckland and the East Coast ports. She left Auckland at 0.45 p.m. Bf the 15th inst., rounded the East Cape at 6.50 a.^h. of the 16th inst., and arrived at Gisborne at 8.40 p.m. same day; left again at 10 p.m., and reached Napier at 6.15 a.m. on the 17th; left again at 1.20 p.m., and arrived at Wellington at 6.30 a.m. of the 18th; pushed on for the south at 310 p.m. same day, and arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. of the 19th ; left again at 2.39 p m. same day, and reached headquarters as above. She experienced lightwinds witb fine weather throughout the passage. She left again yesterday afternoon on her return trip north. ARRIVAL OF THE LUTTERWORTH. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's barque Lutterworth, from Liverpool, via Wellington, arrived off Otago Heads at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and anchored for the night She weighed at 5 a.m. yesterday and was towed up to the Rattray street wharf at 10 a.m., where she will land 419 tons of cargo for this port. The Lutterworth is still under the command of our old friend Captainl R. A Kelly, aud comes into port in very nice order, reflecting great credit both on Captain Kelly and bis officers, of whom Mr Blanchard is chief. Mr Nixon second, and Mr M'Gratb third. The Lutterworth left Liverpool on October 6, had northerly winds down to lat 40 N., and thence strong southerly winds for 6ome 10 days, when it veered to N. and N.E., and continued until she passed the Island of Palma on October 17, which veered into the N.E. trades. They were very light, and gave out in lat. 7 N., long. 26 W., on November 6. Tbence she had a spell of doldrum weather, which lasted for three days and then went into tbe S.E., proving the precursor of the trades. She crossed tho equator on November II in long. 29 W. The S.E. trades were light, and carried her down to lat. 19 S. on November 18. Thence she had calms and light winds for six days, and on November: 24, in lat. 26 S., took tho firstof the westerlies, which only lasted a few days; passed tbe Island of Tristan d'Achuna on December 2, and had light easterly weather; crossed the meridian of Greenwich on December 6 in lat. 38 S.. and rounded the Cape of Good Hope on December 16 in lat 39 S. Her passage across the Southern Ocean was marked by moderate westerly winds and fine weather, with smooth seas, and she crossed the meridian of Cape Leuwin on January 8, and afterwards bad moderate westerly winds.
