PICNIC.

The employees of the Milburn Lime and Cement Company's works, Pelichet Bay, held their second annual picnic at Quarantine Island on Saturday. The outing proved a great success, the weather, being all that could be desired. The races were well contested, valuable prizes having been presented by i number of leading firms, the results being as follows :— Boys' Race (under 18).— E. Davidson 1, J. Dodds, 2.
