I The Timarn Herald learns that a parcol of velvet wheat —an exceptionally good samplechanged hands on Saturday last at 3s fid per bushel. On Mrs H. Davis's farm, Cutts's Island, a paddock of 25 acres yielded 72 bushels per acre, and another gave 72i bushels of splended whc.it.— Christchurch Press.
