THE BLAND HOLT SEASON.
The return season in Dunedin of Mr Bland Holt's Dramatic Company will be opened in the Princess Theatre this evening with the production of Messrs Shirley and Landeck's spectaoular melodrama "Saved from the Sea." Thia is not only the heaviest pieoe, from a spectaoular point of view, which Mr Holt has in his repertoire bnt it ia the most recently-acquired, and it is at the present time running very succeßtfnlly in the provinces in England. Mr Holt was busily occupied nil yesterday in the theatre in supervising the work of his staff of mechanics who were engaged in putting the finishing touches upon the preliminary arrangements for the initial representation thia evening. The bookiDg of seats has been highly satisfactory to the management, and there is every reason to anticipate a bumper houßO to greet the popular actor-manager. "Saved from the Sea " will only he produced for a limited number of nights, and it will be advisable for those who are desirous of witnessing this piece to neglect no opportunity of doing so. For the season, which is to bo opaned to-night, popular prices are to be charged. This in itself constitutes a voiy strong attraction, especially when it ia known that the full strength of Mr Holt's company'hasieturnedwith him.
