THE FUNERAL.
■ , . January 26, The funeral procession of the late Bishop Luck left. St. Patrick's Cathedral, yesterday afternoon for Onehuoga. The procession of vehicles ■ and public on foot was a mile in length. The chief mourner was Father Luck. Among those present were the Hon. J. A. Tole, the Hon. W. Jennings, M.L.C., Messrs Crowther, Thompson, and L&wry, M.H:R.'s, and the mayor (Mr Holland). The Anglican Primata (Bishop, Cowie) was represented by his son. The Yen. Archdeacon Dudley was present lit the funeral service in the church. At Onehunga the whole. Catholic clergy of the dioce3e were present in the procession, also the Hibernian Societies of Auckland, Thames, • Coromandel, and Onebunga, the Christian Doctrine Society, various literary societies and clabe. The Children of BJsry formed a guard of honour. The remains of the bishop were buried near the altsr of the Roman Catholic Church at Onehunga t tha coffin beibg embedded in concrete. Bishop Grimes, of Cbristohnrcb, delivered an eloquent faneral oration, extolling the virtues of tho deceased bishop. .
