Tbe second race in connection with the Daaedin Amateur Swimming Club was got off last ; evening st the Logan's Point Baths. Distauco, 100 yards. Theru was a targe attendance of the public, and the interest manifested in the raca was very encouraging to the officers of the club. The Dr«t heat was won by H. M-iitlaad (4sec), W. I Daring the interval between the third and final h.-at, a boys'.rare for two silver medala was swum, and produced an excellent linish, K<ic Moller (serarofa) winning by three inches fiom H. Dockery (4»ec). H. Macintosh (2seo), F. Haunigan (2Asoc), T. Nicholsoa (53ec), and H. Nicholls (2-i-e'c) also competed. Mr W. B. Byre acted as sturter in a manuer that proved him experienced in the work, while Mfifsrs Crosby Smith aad Gibb were efficient judges. • -• Tbe next evr-nt takes place at the St. Clair Batbs on Wednesday 22nd ilist., at 7.15 p.m. Distance 150/ dc, ior two prizes aud points.
