OTAGO DOCK TRUST.
A meeting of the Olago Dock Trust, held yesterday, was attended by Messrs A. Thomson (chairman), H. Gouriey, and W. Goiv. Mr R. Hay, C E., wrot9 forwarding certificates for payment on account 'of contracts at the refrigeraticg works. Tbe works generally, be stated, were progressing satisfactorily. The boiler was in position mid built in, the machinery was iv course of erection, the engine Kcd condenser house was completed, and the interior work of the cool chambers w»s in full tsni/ig. The rails for the siding had been laid in through tho building, *nd would bs ballasted forthwith, and ho hoped before the next meeting of the trmt to have the works ready for opening.—The letttr w»s received. The Finance Committee reported having pas«f-d for pfcymtnfc oceonnta amonntins; to £866 15s, and recommended thit £156 Os 3d be passed for payment. There was a credit balance in the bank of £212 lGs to trnst account.—The report was adopted. It was decided to, incroace the dock mastei's I ealary to £250 per annum.
