In connection with the Liberator Bnildinu Society frauds, Q. E. Brock and M. Theobald, two of the directors,: were sentenced to nine and four months respectively. Oa the announcement of the sentences the crowd In the streets cheered, and there was great exoftement as-vthe. prisoners were removod.
The Grown has decided not to proceed further in connection With the charges against those alleged to be Implicated in the frauds.
