At the Port Chalmers Police Court yesterday James Elyth, for drunkenness, was fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprioonment. Mr J. Morgan, J.P., presided.
From the statement in bankruptcy of Oscar Wilde's affairs it appear* that since July 1893 ho'has received about £4000 ia royalties for his Plays. .
