TO THE BSMTOK. Sib,—ln "-Chambers' Graduated BEaters* Book 111, page 55, oa the second line, is to be seen the word "sirup." Borne patents who look after their children at home have been spelling "syrup" with a "y" instead of an •- Would you kindly, inform us which is the correct spelling ; *nd if the book be incorrect, why should it be allowed to.remain so ?—I am| October M Pabek*.
