A meeting of the Dunedin* District; Officers' Club was held at the Garrison HaU on Friday evening, the business being - the reading of & paper by Major .Callan.'- The subject selected was entitled " Some Lessons Derived from the Late Easter Encampment,"'and 'under this head the. lecturer referred, to many matters that might with .advantage be looked to. on future occasions, and gave a number of admirable suggestions for fche consideration of officers of corps..
