TRINITY WESLEYAN CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL.

There was a very large attendance of echolars and their friends at the Trinity Wesleyan Schoolroom yesterday afternoon, the occasion being the presentation of prises for the year. Tha teachers had decided for the past year thab they should follow the Olivet system of conducting the school, which is giving one mark for punctuality, three for behaviour, and two for le.-ons, with two examinations; the maximum number of marks for Sundays being 210, and the examinations 200, a total of 410. By this system every child may win a prize. Each class-in the school this year was represented iv the prizo list, which was, divided into four grades — perfection grade, '410 marks ; firsi. grade, 390 marks; second grade, 358; third grade, 251. Thirty-one scholars .qualifim! themselves for the third grade, and the following for the second grade in the order named .—Leonard Burnard, Jaue Kaye, Edith .Walton, Leonard Whitfcington, Beatrice Taylor, Leslie Walton, Lilian Simon, Vercpu Buruard, Irene Hurley, Edith Bull. For the first grade, 390 marks and over, the p_i_.e-t.ak _r_ were : —P<rcy Lowis 407, .George Taylor 404, James Kaye 403, Jessie Kaye 400, Mnud Lane 399, Lu-.y Wilson and Enscst Coming 393,' Dora: Bull 391.
