PROPERTY SALE.
Mr W. A. Walton reports having held an auction sale at his rooms, High street, on Wednesday, of freehold properties at Green Island and Balaclava (Morniufiton). There was a large attendance, and the following properties were disposed of:—Allotment 5, subdivision of Kingston, Green Island, with buildings' thereon, purchated
by Mr D. Edgar for the sum of £64; allotment 7, containing .-> acres 7 poles subdivision of Kineston, purcha-ed. by Mr James Miller for £30 • Kection_l7, block 11. and sections 3, 20, 36,* and 37. f/JX jJ<L in *l!«"lava. Pur?J'jvsed by Mr Lochhead for £61 10«. Several buildings on the property known as Runciman's, Green Inland, were sold for removal; also a quantity of milling machinery. , The remainder of the. unsold lots are being negotiated for private sale.
