THE RESERVES CONSERVATION SOCIETY.
-The work undertaken by the Reserves Conservation Society of beautifying the Southern Market reserve, hes proved to be of a more extspstve character than was at first anticipated. The road at the foot of the hill leading pist the large wooden building is being takea up, while the buildine itself, together with the little housa where the fire brigade keep some of their gear are to beremoved. A gate will he placed at each end of the reserve, and a path 16ft wide will be. 1112.de, running from end to end. At a subsequent date it is proposed to collect funds to enable the reserve to bs surrounded by an iron fence,' such as is at present around, the Octagon and Triangle. ' ;
