' Apjmwtown, May 16. Samuel Oldfield, an old carter in the district, returning from Queenstown yestesrdsy afternoon, must have met with an accidest-, as he was found dead on the road to Murray's mill this morning. The team rafcurnsd to the mill ■ last tiight with one of the korse3 of the team ia tow, it having been, killed. The team coaeisted of a waggon and siz horses. A storeman at the PhcEnix Confectionery Factory, ntmed Thomas Hurley, met with an accident white unloading a dray at the factory on Wedcesday. He got jammed between the dray and the wal], and had a rib broken, besides receiving a number oi nasty bruises.
