T^m he- meetiD S °* Grand .Lodge Lp.G.T. m Dnnedin on the 17th the Grand Superintendent of Juvenile Temples laid his report before the meeting which jvas duly discussed. The report stated that there had been increased sympathy and interest shown in his department of work. The following new temples" had been formed •'■— Fox Memorial, Auckland; Spring of Hope, Oamaru* Hutt Temple, Hutt; Oreti, Winton• Star of Hyde, Hyde; Flower of the Valley, Clutha* North Spring, Hnnterville; Hope of Sanson' Sanson; Morning Star, ■ St. Kilda; Fountain Spring, Timaru ; Star of Egmont, Patea; Hope of Halcombe, Halcombe ; HooV of'Denniston Denniston; Hope of Tauranga, Tarn-anna* Life Boat, Manawatu. And the following temples have been re-opened-—Pride of Stafford, Stafiordtown; Yonng Crusader, Christchurch; Hope of Akaroa, Akaroa; Hope of Kawakawa, Kawakawa. The total number of juvenile members stands at 1300,' entered the adult lodges 20, honorary members 42 It was suggested thafc £5 should be voted by the Grand Lodge for prizes for the juvenile temples. Two deaths had occurred—Bro. W Morris (of the Woodstock Temple) and Bro Gay nor (of Nelson). The report was adopted' The report of the Grand Secretary stated there were 2418 brothers and 1419' sisters as -members of the order. There are how 116 lodges in good standing' being ah increase of 14 lodges. Three district lodges have been started". Bro. Walton was re-elected Grand Superintendent of the Juvenile Temples. The salaries of the secretary and treasurer were fixed. Bro. Cameron was duly elected Grand Secretary, Bro. Thome as Grand Treasurer, and Bro. Hall as Grand Chaplin: The, election of officers of Grand Lodge was completed. The following were installed into their respective offices by P.G.C.T. Bro. J. A. Appointments in the Government Insuranca office at Wellington have been offered to and accepted by Misses F. H. Wright and F. D. Robertson, both pupils of fche Auckland College and Grammar School, who passed the junior civil service examination in January last. ' The Masonic Newspaper Company has been registered in' Wellington, and Messrs Gillon, Wilson, Freeman, Fletcher, Hamerton, and Baillie elected directors. Mr H. J.
