Two of the leaders of the omnibus strike have been sentenced to six moths' imprisonment. CANADA'S DEFICIT. Ottawa, May 3. The Canadian deficit amounts to four and a-balf million dollars. The Government propose a duty of £ per cent, per lb on raw sugar. COUNT KALNOKY RESIGNS. Vienna, May 5. Count -Kalcoky has resigned owing to Herr Baaffya, the Hungarian Premier, having prematurely stated that the former had protested to the Italian Government against the action of the Papal Nuncio in Vienna in fostering clerical agitation against1 the Hungarian Govsmment. THE CHITRAL TROUBLE. Calcutta, May 3. The Afghans are willing to surrender Unira Khan to the British when it is desired, and it is expected a claim will be made shortly.
