Fp.uiT.—Market barely supplied with imported fruits. We received small shipment choice peai-3 and plums per Mararoa. Prices as follows :—Local apples, cooking, 2s 9d to 3s b'd; eatinpr, 5s to 7e. Pears in Bhort supply, and range from 5_ to Sa; imported, 14s. Plurps, scarce,' ahd good demand, 5s to 6... Tomatoes, ljd to 2d; hothouse, 3d. Grapes, 9d. Oranges, D.E., Tahiti, 7sto S3; Italian, 20-. Lemone, 22s (id: Bananas, 2d to 2Jd—scarce.
Produce. — Eggs in better supply. Fresh butter, chort supply, Btl to 9d.. Prime salt has little better inquiry. Bacon, roll, 6d to (ijd; sides, Cd to BJd ;. hams, 7_d to Sd. Cheese: Farmers', 4d to 4Jd; Akaroa, 44d;- factory, , 4Jd to sd. Honey, 4d. Potatoes: Kidneys £2 VHi ; Derwents, wanted, £2 10s to £3 10s. Onious : Canterbury, 4s to ss; Melbourne., £5 to £6. .
