TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —There are many disputes regarding I he spelling of the word " Jeannie " Deans in the famous novel of Sir Walter Scott "The Heart of Midlothian." Some are of opinion one "n" is correct; others say "nn." Would some of yoar readers kindly oblige me with the information which of the two is correct.—l am, &c, Dunedin, March 8. Henry G. Parker.
