v OnErsTCircmcH, January 25. The third wool files of the season's series took piece to-day, 10,000. bales beiDg offered, of which three-fourths were sold. Long wools aud merinos were ftteady, with rather more competition for merino than at the last sales. Halfbreds were id per lb below the December rates. The prices for medium to eucerior wool» were as follows :—Greasy halfbred fleece, sid to 7}d ; croesbred, s^d to 7^d ; longwool, 5d to 6^d; merinos, 4^d to 7d; pieces and locks at December rates.
