The quarterly meeting of the Port Chalmers Working Men's Co-operative Society will be held on Tuesday evening. On and after Monday, the express trains will stop at Shag Point Junction to put down and pick up Dunedin passengers. . The attention of ratepayers in the North-Bast Valley and Blueakin ridings of the Wsiikouaiti County, and of those residing at Purakanui and Mansford Town, is directed to an advertisement in another column.

The Arthur street, Albany ftreet, George street. Union street, Morninjrton, Civerabam, NortbEist Valley, Forburv, Macandrew road, and Kensington public schools will be reopened on Monday, and the Kaikorai School on Tuesday, but the Wak»ri School not till the 4th prox.
