If accepted, run to be offered at a yearly rental of £2H fur 14 years. HavklocK.—An application was received from John l&llanah for a grazing riglr. over a portion of the mining reserve-, town of Mavelock, between block X and the Waitahuna river.—Yearly license granted under section 116 of the act over portion of mining reserve, about OJ acres, already fenced in by applicant at Is Bd per acre, with license fee £1 Is.

Waii'ori.—A license was granted to the Commonage Committee over sections 2, 11 to 19, block V, Waipori district. Waitaiiuna East.—A letter was read from James Toner regarding his license to occupy portion of section 2, block VII, Waitaiiuna Mast district.—Toe board declined to alter arrangement entered into.

Maniototo. — The Chief Surveyor forwarded report from Surveyor Calder recommending that section 24, block XVI, Maniototo district, be reserved for school purposes. —Government recornmenrled to make the reserve accordingly. An application from Patrick Devenny to transfer to Andrew Barclay Hall deferred payment land section S, block X. was api.roved. Blackstone —Thn board approved of an application from Bridget Spain to transfer to Henry Foxsill perpetual-le.ise sections 6, 7,12, and 15 to 17, block XVf, Blackstone district. Gijimerbuhn.—Ann Bradley applied to transfer to Caroline Lory small grazing run 2255, Girnmerburn. —Transfer approved under the circumstances set out in the declaration.

Akatorh.—Mr D. Reid, on behalf of Anthony Young, applied for a coal lease over section 29, block VI, Akatore district.—Consideration deferred.
